Simple Pancake Recipe

This pancake recipe is very easy and quick, perfect for a delicious breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 250 ml milk
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil (for the batter)
  • 1 tablespoon oil (for frying)

Method of Preparation:

Prepare the batter:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the egg with a whisk or fork.
  2. Add the milk and stir well.
  3. Add the flour, sugar, and salt, mixing until you obtain a smooth batter without lumps. If the batter is too thick, add a little more milk.
  4. Finally, stir in the 2 tablespoons of oil.

Fry the pancakes:

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour in the tablespoon of oil and let it warm.
  2. Ladle a portion of batter into the pan and tilt to spread it into a thin layer.
  3. Fry the pancake for 1–2 minutes on each side, until it turns golden. Flip it with a spatula.
