Will resizing stretch or distort my text and pictures?
No. Our engine uses proportional aspect scaling. Both width and height are scaled by the exact same ratio so images and text stay completely natural. The resized page is neatly centered with uniform margins.
What happens if my PDF contains landscape orientation pages?
The tool automatically inspects each individual page. If an original page is wider than it is tall, it creates a landscape page in the new target size so your orientation is never accidentally rotated.
Why should I resize from A4 to US Letter (or vice versa)?
Printers configured with US Letter trays will often reject or truncate European A4 files because A4 is taller. Resizing to US Letter ensures smooth printing on North American printers without edge cutoff.
Are my confidential documents uploaded to any server during resizing?
No. Every document is processed 100% locally inside your browser using WebAssembly and pdf-lib. No PDF data, forms, or text are ever transmitted over the network or stored on remote servers.
Does resizing a PDF to a larger page size (like A3) improve low-resolution images?
Vector elements like fonts, lines, and digital drawings scale up infinitely with razor sharpness. However, bitmap images embedded in the PDF will remain at their original pixel resolution, scaled smoothly to fill the new layout.
