How to Use It
- 1. Go to the 'New Quote' tab and give your project a name.
- 2. Add your materials using the '+ Add Item' button.
- 3. Enter your labour (total hours and your hourly rate).
- 4. Set your profit markup (%) and any applicable tax (e.g., VAT).
- 5. Click 'Save Project'. It will now appear in the 'Saved Quotes' tab.
- 6. Use the 'Export as CSV' or 'Print/Save PDF' buttons for your records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is my data saved?
Your project data is saved *only* on your computer, in your browser's 'Local Storage'. It is never sent to our server. If you clear your browser cache, you may lose your saved projects.
How does the PDF export work?
It uses your browser's built-in 'Print' function. We use a special stylesheet to format the page as a clean quote. Simply choose 'Save as PDF' from the print dialog.
How many projects can I save?
You can save dozens of projects. The limit is your browser's local storage (usually 5-10MB), which is more than enough for text-based quotes.
