Frequently Asked Questions
How do I save my new prices?
When you toggle "Edit Mode" and change a price, it is automatically saved to your browser's local storage. Next time you open the tool, your custom prices will be there.
Can the client edit the quote if I share the link?
No. The link generates a "Read Only" version of the quote. They can see the services and the total, but they cannot change the prices or untick boxes.
How do I add a custom service?
Toggle "Edit Mode" on. A "+ Add Service" button will appear. Click it to add a new blank row, then type your service name and price.
Can I print the quote?
Yes. Click the "Print / PDF" button. The tool generates a clean, ink-friendly version of the quote table, perfect for attaching to the garment bag.
Does this work on mobile?
Yes! The tool is fully responsive. You can generate a quote on your phone while standing with the client during a fitting.
How do I apply a discount?
In the "Quote Details" section at the bottom, there is a "Discount %" field. Enter a number (e.g., 10) to take 10% off the subtotal.
Can I add a rush fee?
Yes. You can either use the "Custom Service" feature to add a line item called "Rush Fee", or simply adjust the total manually if needed.
Is my data secure?
Your custom prices are stored locally on your device (Local Storage) or saved to your private user account if you are logged in. We do not share your pricing data.
How do I reset to default prices?
If you messed up your price list and want to start over, look for the "Reset Defaults" link in your account settings or clear your browser cache for this page.
What currency does it use?
The tool defaults to your region's currency symbol ($, £, €). You can change this in your profile settings.
